In the meeting on “sharing experience and result of activities in yearly 2006” held in Hanoi, on 2nd December, 2006, Prof.PhD Nguyen Thi Hoai Duc, head of the VNGO Executive Board said that: since established up to now, with 30 members, VNGOs group has significantly contributed to implementing the millennium development goals such as: poverty reduction, gender equality, sustainable environment, education, reproductive health and HIV/AIDS prevention. In many years, VNGOs group has operating in all of the provinces and cities of Vietnam, focusing on rural, mountainous, remote areas, ethnic minority, disadvantages groups.

On the occasion of Pacific Asia economic co-operative (APEC) conference held in Hanoi, on 18th, November, 2006, The Center for Reproductive and Family Health (RaFH) had great honor to receive Prof.Peter Davids - the husband of the New Zealand Prime Minister, Mr John Egan, the general representative of NZAID organization and Mrs Alison Kember the wife of New Zealand Ambassador in Viet Nam.

From 16th to 19th October 2006, Nguyen Thi Hoai Duc, MD. PhD (Director of RaFH) attended Meeting on: “Technical Consultation to Review intervention to support the parents of Adolescents” organized by WHO in Geneva, Switzerland as temporary adviser of the meeting. Bangladesh delegation including of 16 representatives of government and domestic and international organizations working in Bangladesh visited the activities of the project “RAS/03/P52” in Hoa Binh province on 24th -25th July 2006.
